I decided to post my recipes on a separate page. It will take me a while to organize everything, so please bear with me.
Just a friendly reminder. If I don't say otherwise, recipes feed my family of 8 with leftovers. So you may have to adjust accordingly.

Sweet Pickle Relish

Grind cucumbers to make 1 big water bath canner full + 1 gallon, or 40 cups
1 gallon onions, ground
1 gallon sweet peppers, ground

Put equal amounts in 2 big wb canners. Add to each:

2 cups salt, mix well then put water on mixture until 2 inches from top. Let stand overnight. Drain for 2 hrs or more in pillow case on clothes line.

Mix together following ingredients in pan:

1-1/2 gallon white vinegar
12-1/2 pounds white sugar
12 heaping tsp. mustard seed
12 heaping tsp. celery seed
1/2 small container turmeric

Bring to boil, add vegetables and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook 10-15 minutes stirring often. Put in clean jars and seal.
